Travel Opportunities

The Red Wing High School Music Department travels every other year over spring break. The tour is open to all RWHS Music Students in grades 10 - 12. In 2024, the program shifted to traveling Internationally, with our first tour to Italy. The itinerary included staying in Sorrento, traveling up the Amalfi Coast, and then staying in Rome. Students performed outdoor concerts in Sorrento and Amalfi, an indoor concert at Sant Ignazio Cathedral in Rome, and the choir sang for Mass at St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. Sightseeing highlights included beautiful scenery along the Amalfi Coast, Isle of Capri, Pompeii ruins, the medieval city of Orvieto, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Vatican City tours, and much more!
